​Opening of Share Buyback Program

Contax Participações S.A. (“Contax” or “Company”), pursuant to CVM Instructions 358/02 and 10/80 and Law 6404, hereby announces that its Board of Directors, at a meeting on October 6, 2014, unanimously approved, without reservations, a proposal to open the 6th Contax Share Buyback Program involving the repurchase of up to 2.08% of outstanding common and preferred shares, pursuant to CVM Instruction10/80 and subsequent amendments thereto, under the following conditions: (i) Objective: to provide a reserve for use of the Stock Option Plan approved by the Company‘s Extraordinary Shareholders‘ Meeting of April 30, 2014; (ii) Number of Shares: one million, six thousand, two hundred and eighty-nine (1,006,289) common shares and four million, twenty-five thousand, one hundred and fifty-six (4,025,156) preferred shares in the form of depositary receipts (units) observing the proportion of each class of share in their composition; (iii) Term of the Program: three hundred and sixty-five (365) days as of this date, ending therefore on October 5, 2015; (iv) Number of Shares Outstanding: forty-eight million, five hundred and eighteen thousand, nine hundred and two (48,518,902) common shares and one hundred and ninety-four million, two hundred and fourteen thousand, one hundred and sixty-three (194,214,163) preferred shares; and (v) Financial Institutions: Itaú Corretora de Valores S.A. (Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima, 3.400 – 10º andar, CEP: 04538-132, São Paulo – SP); Bradesco S.A.
