Material Fact

São Paulo, August 30, 2016. Contax Participações S.A. (“Contax” or “Company”; CTAX3), pursuant to Article 157, Paragraph 4 of Law 6404/76 (“Brazilian Corporation Law”) and CVM Instruction 358/02, hereby informs its shareholders, investors and the market in general that a ruling was issued regarding Interlocutory Appeal no. 2172981-45.2016.8.26.000, pending before the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo, granting, as a preliminary matter, the reinstatement of the effects of the interlocutory relief previously granted by the 28th Civil Court of São Paulo, pursuant to the material fact disclosed on March 16, 2016, in the lawsuit discussing contractual disputes between Mr. Nelson Armbrust, Chief Executive Officer, and his former employee, Grupo Atento.

The decision granted by the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo is provisional and subject to appeal. The Company will continue adopting all applicable measures.

Contax will keep its shareholders, investors and the market in general informed of any developments on the matter.
