Rio de Janeiro, January 28, 2013 – In accordance with Article 157, 4th paragraph of Law no. 6,404 dated December 15, 1976, and with CVM Instruction no. 358 dated January 3 2002, Contax Participações S.A. (“Contax” or “Company”) informs its shareholders and the market that on January 23, 2013, it received a letter from investment funds and portfolios represented by the managers Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo Asset Management S.A., Credit Suisse Hedging-Griffo Serviços Internacionais S.A. and Skopos Investimentos Ltda., in the capacity of shareholders holding more than 5% (five percent) of the share capital of Contax (“Correspondence”).
