Depositary Financial Institution Change

 

Rio de Janeiro, June 22, 2012 – CONTAX PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A. – (Bovespa: CTAX3 and CTAX4), (“Company”), announces to the market that from July 1, 2012 Itaú Corretora de Valores S.A. (“ITAUCOR”) will be the depositary financial institution for the Company’s stock, thus replacing Banco do Brasil S.A. As a result, from that date service to shareholders will be provided on Itaú Unibanco S.A.’s network across Brazil, which is prepared to take receipt of stockholder documents to be sent to the branches listed below:

  • São Paulo (SP): 318 XV de Novembro Street – Ground Floor
  • Rio de Janeiro (RJ): 99 Sete de Setembro Street – Basement – Center
  • Curitiba (PR): 65 João Negrão Street
  • Porto Alegre (RS): 746 Sete de Setembro Street
  • Belo Horizonte (MG): 195 João Pinheiro Street – ground floor
  • Salvador (BA): 50 Estados Unidos Avenue, 2nd floor, Sesq Building
  • Brasilia (DF): SC Sul, Block 3, Dona Ângela building, 1st floor

Stockholders whose stock is in the custody of BM&FBovespa will still be serviced by their respective brokers and/or custody agents, as trading in the Company’s stock will not be interrupted on BM&FBovespa.

Service to stockholders will be suspended on June 25-30, 2012 due to the migration of the following processes: information on positions, stock transfer outside the stock exchange, custody transfer, payments of pending events, personal information update and registration of guarantees.

It must be highlighted that that this change will not change any of the stock’s rights including dividends, interest on capital and any payments of principal. Any payments will be made in the current account previously indicated by each stockholder.
