Change of Independent Auditors

Rio de Janeiro, March 12, 2012 – Contax Participações S.A. (“Company”), pursuant to Paragraph 1, Article 28 of CVM Rule 308/99, announces to the market that according to the last meeting of the Company’s Board of Directors held on February 29, 2012, they approved to change the independent auditors for the period between 2012-2014, which now are KPMG Auditores Independentes, Corporate Taxpayer ID (CNPJ) 57.755.217/0003-90, in replacement of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Auditores Independentes, Corporate Taxpayer ID (CNPJ) 49.928.567/0002-00.

Said change of independent auditors was necessary in view of strictly commercial circumstances, without any fact discrediting the services provided by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Auditores Independentes.
