Material Fact

São Paulo, January 15, 2016. Contax Participações S.A. (“Contax” or “Company”; BM&FBovespa: CTAX11; CTAX3 e CTAX4), pursuant to paragraph 4 of article 157 of Law 6404/76 and CVM Instruction 358/02, hereby informs its shareholders, investors and the market in general that, on this date, the general meeting of debenture holders of the Company’s second (2nd) debenture issue was reopened and subsequently suspended at the proposal of the Company and with the approval of said debenture holders, in order to permit the continuation of negotiations with the debenture holders, its reopening being scheduled for January 19, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., at the previously disclosed location, when said debenture holders will resume deliberation of the matters envisaged in the call notice and management proposal published by the Company.
