Notice to the Market

São Paulo, October 5, 2016. Contax Participações S.A. (“Contax” or “Company”), pursuant to Article 30, item XXIX of CVM Instruction 480/09, hereby informs its shareholders, investors and the market in general that the Company’s Board of Directors approved, at a meeting held on October 4, 2016, among other matters, the change in the composition of the Advisory Committees to the Board of Directors, with the election of Board members Márcio Adolpho Girão Quixadá, as the new member of the Finance Committee and Audit, Risk Management and Compliance Committee, and Matias Ezequiel Aron as member of the People Committee and Finance Committee. As a result of the resolutions above, the Advisory Committees are now composed as follows:

i.People Committee: Shakhaf Wine, Matias Ezequiel Aron and Lívia Xavier de Mello;
ii. Audit, Risk Management and Compliance Committee: Shakhaf Wine, Lívia Xavier de Mello, Marcel Paes Machado de Andrade and Márcio Adolpho Girão Quixadá;
iii. Finance Committee: Shakhaf Wine, Fábio Soares de Miranda Carvalho; Marcel Paes Machado de Andrade, Matias Ezequiel Aron and Márcio Adolpho Girão Quixadá; and
iv. Strategic Operating Committee: Shakhaf Wine, Fábio Soares de Miranda Carvalho; Marcel Paes Machado de Andrade and Matias Ezequiel Aron.

The detailed résumé of Márcio Adolpho Girão Barros Quixadá is as follows:

• Márcio Adolpho Girão Barros Quixadá: Currently a sitting member of the Company’s Board of Directors. Owner and partner of law firm Quixadá Advogados Associados. He was Corporate Controllership Manager of Paranapanema S/A Ind. Mineração e Construção, from 1988 to 1991. Prior to that, he was Audit Manager at Pricewaterhouse Auditores Independentes, from 1984 to 1987, having joined Pricewaterhouse in 1976. He holds a degree in Accounting from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC), in Law from Universidade Paulista (UNIP), and a specialization degree in Financial Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
