Notice to the Market
São Paulo, October 9, 2015 – Contax Participações S.A. (“Contax” or “Company”) hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, at a Board of Directors meeting held today, the Board members acknowledged the resignation of Cristiano Yazbek Pereira from his position as a sitting member of the Company’s Board of Directors and thanked him for his dedication and contribution to the Company throughout his time as a Board member.
At the same meeting, the Board of Directors elected Fernando Magalhães Portella as a sitting member of the Board of Directors as a result of said resignation, with a mandate until the Company’s next Annual Shareholders’ Meeting.
Mr. Portella graduated in Agronomy from São Paulo State University (UNESP) in December 1975, has an Executive MBA from Columbia University and completed the General Management Program and Corporate Leader Program at Harvard University in 2000 and 2006, respectively. He was Vice President of the financial institution Citibank Brasil from 1986 to 1992 and a partner at Gemini Consulting from 1992 to 1996. He was also CEO of Grupo O Dia de Comunicação, a Board member of the National Association of Journalists (ANJ) from 1996 to 2003, President of the Brazilian Association of Marketing and Business from January 1999 to December 2000, a member of the Advisory Board of Intermédica Empresa de Saúde S.A. from June 2008 to February 2010, and CEO of Organização Jaime Camra from July 2006 to January 2011. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Iguatemi Empresa de Shopping Center S.A., a shopping mall management company. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Jereissati Participações S.A., having been elected on April 30, 2015, where he is also the CEO, having been elected on March 25, 2014.
